The Origami Flautist is among my many submissions to the yearly Chroma Corps contest. The prompt of Origami Musician had hit hard at the time, but I managed to pull through giving it a low-poly look with the simplest of shapes and values.
I have spent a lot of time rendering the face, making the black skin of Anya here pop as much as possible, just for the character’s nature to be to cover most of her face so that she doesn't witness the wrongdoings of the people. My Submission for 2024 Chroma Corps contest.
Fanart of Flytrap, an original character by Hakarts that I made for Chroma Corps 2023. This was when I started to understand the power of the Lasso tool. It is a brush in and of itself. The versatility of the lasso tool makes it a great tool for especially creating hard edges that define certain landmarks that can be utilized all around the artwork.
Cooking good art with the legendary Funky Pepe who has always motivated me with his great work with fun and distinct art-style ever since I got to see his work for the first time in Chroma Corps 2023 . His character Sona on the right with my Uta on the left is imagined in the Breaking Bad universe, drinking that good %99,1 fruit juice of course.
I have learned a great deal while working on both of these, especially while working on Luan, drawing her as a human but still making her recognizable as of bird nature -that tramples the likes of snakes.
